Roz adam travis madison & jasmine we all miss you so much.. our little street just isnt the same, but in that & with lossing you all we now understand so much more the value of family & not letting ONE day go by without tell your family & friends just how much we lov them. We went out on friday to be apart of your mamorial day & renaming of the bridge josh couldnt go he misses you roz so much he misses being able to talk to you & knew that you would always hear what he had to say & i will be always thankful to you for that. today we had a plaque and memorial today at somersby which is now called the bragg-holt bridge it was a beautiful ceremony lots of peole came to recoginse the day and much appreciated. We should not of needed this day if things were done properly. I miss you all and hope now you can rest in peace.
It has been two years since that horrendos storm and stupidity of council that took all your lives. The bridge was opened yesterday ironic on a Friday, it has been named the bragg-holt bridge and there will be a plaque erected in all your memories. Still this is suppose to be a memory section I have to many memories to say The only memory I dont want to know is the memory of that awfut day, and lives changed forever both for the holts and the braggs. I still miss you all and think about you every day, people try and say I have to turn this into a positive but How???? Travis's game wll be on soon,go the entance. Maddsion would of been 5 this Saturday and going to big school, she would of loved it been I dare a little terror!!!! She was a very outgoing little girl. Adams birthday is next week can't beleive how fast time has gone, Where ever you are hope you have a good one. My last memory of you all was you joining me to celebrate my hens night, Adam and the girls came along to cirqualar quay to say hi to all of us and see you off for a night with the girls. The girls loved us all fussing over them until it was time to say goodbye. You headed off in one direction head up, full steam ahead but the glassy eyes gave you away. The girls and Adam headed off in the opposite direction, Jasmine being carried by Adam arms outstreched and calling for her mummy. Maddison walking beside them the brave big sister. Not one of us had a dry eye seeing the three of them walking away, but we all hurried to catch up with Ros!
Mate, you had a wonderful family and I know you were so proud of Travis. I can only hope I show the courage, strength and devotion you gave your family.
How will I ever replace a friend with whom I shared a lifetime of memories, our school days, our party years, our first jobs, our first loves, our first homes, our first babies. There is no way to replace a friend like Ros. I miss our chats, I miss her laugh, I miss her crazy ways, I ache for the good times will still were yet to have together. Some of the funniest times of my life I shared with Ros ,she new how to have a great time and could turn a room with her laugh.
